This lovely lady has a Flickr set of pictures of herself over time - long hair, short hair and everything in between.
It’s like being 15 again and playing “would you rather wear this or that?” with your mother’s latest issue of Vogue.

I’m waiting on my various holiday fixings to cook, and thought y’all might like a peek at my hair semi-grow out progression. I hate taking self portrait shots. I mean, do you look at the camera? Do you look away? It’s hard to do either without feeling a little pretentious…
Today, remember to give your family ample hugs and tell ‘em you love them while you can. My family is far, far, far away, and only wish I could do the same.
Love,

Anonymous asked: You havent been posting in a long time, i am afraid your hair might have grown some ..
Yikes. I’ve been officially caught!
Yes, I AM growing out my hair. No, you don’t need to be afraid of it. :)
I was 18 when I whacked it off now but am now nearer to 30 than I am 20. After 8 years, I was getting really bored with the super short crop look. I’m excited to switch things up!
So, what’s next? In early December, I’ll be getting an asymmetrical crop with progressive baby bangs. The end result should look like a mashup between these two photos. If you have any other suggestions for me, I’m definitely open to them. For reference, this is what I looked like 9 months ago.

What do you guys think? Yay? Nay?
Anonymous asked: I live in San Francisco -- where do you get your hair cut??
I used to go to Edo Salon in the Lower Haight, but my hairstylist recently left and opened his own place in the Mission, Watermelon Sugar.

I really couldn’t recommend him more. He has a God-given gift for translating my non-technical jibberish of what I want and don’t want in a cut into true works of art. He’s also an all-around rad and super nice guy.
